Description

Staying within the Legal Limit: Alcohol at Nonprofit Events
Thursday, July 29 | 10:00 AM – 11:15 AM | Webinar

Presented by: James A. Jones, Retired State Police Captain, Pennsylvania State Police, Bureau of Liquor Control Enforcement

The world is opening up and with that comes the return of…the nonprofit gala! While many are considering new approaches to their special events, some of the same questions from “the before times” still apply today, especially when it comes to having alcohol at your event. Things like:

  • When do we need a permit to serve alcohol?
  • What constitutes the unlicensed sale of alcohol?
  • Can we auction liquor?

It’s tough to comply with the laws and regulations governing the sale and service of alcohol if you don’t know what you don’t know. That’s what we’re here for!

In this session, Jamie Jones, retired state police captain, will provide insight into the various ways to legally and responsibly sell and serve alcoholic beverages at charitable events. We’ll also cover the do’s and don’ts of planning and overseeing events as well as ways to mitigate alcohol related issues and reduce potential liability.

Join us and get in the know about what you don’t know when it comes to alcohol at events!

This option makes the most sense when you have 4-10 individuals interested in viewing the webinar. For fewer than 4 attendees, a single login ticket for each person is the most cost-effective option. For more than 10 attendees, please email Christina at christina@pano.org to discuss options.
