Can Zoom Board Meetings Really be Engaging? Presented by: Susan Detwiler, The Detwiler Group Offered in Partnership with: The Detwiler Group |
We've all become used to Zoom for meetings, but, for many, board meetings still feel lacking. Board members stay muted, check out, or check their phones. New board members don't know the returning members – and vice versa. You forget who wants to talk and in what order.
Engaging board members in-person is already an art; so how do you keep them engaged when everyone is in a little square on a screen? Fortunately, there are several tools and techniques that can help. In this session with meeting facilitator and consultant Susan Detwiler, you will learn some simple ways to get – and keep – engagement, including:
• Why, when, and how to use breakout rooms • How to best use screen-share – and when not to • Using chat for feedback and note-taking • Different ways to take votes • How to keep track of the conversation • Advanced Zoom settings that enhance your control |
Single Login Cost: Terms of Participation
Group Screening Cost (4-10 individuals): Terms of Participation
This option makes the most sense when you have 4-10 individuals interested in viewing the webinar. For fewer than 4 attendees, a single login ticket for each person is the most cost-effective option. For more than 10 attendees, please email Christina at christina@pano.org to discuss options.
