This is an introductory webinar to inclusive communications. Learn why gender-inclusive language is important to create a culture of belonging and inclusion at your nonprofit. Whether you are in the social service, health care, arts, education, or other sector, understanding and using inclusive communications can help your organization send a message that your clients, supporters, and stakeholders are seen, honored, and welcomed.

Your purchase entitles you to a single login. Please do not share the login information with others, as it may interfere with your ability to join. If multiple individuals from your organization would like to view the webinar, please purchase separate tickets for each person or consider a group screening ticket (below).

$115 per group for PANO Members | $255 per group for Not-Yet Members


Terms of Participation
If you have 4-10 individuals interested in viewing the webinar, please have one person register selecting the group ticket. You can then enter the names and email addresses of up to 9 other individuals to add to your group ticket.


This option makes the most sense when you have 4-10 individuals interested in viewing the webinar. For fewer than 4 attendees, a single login ticket for each person is the most cost-effective option. For more than 10 attendees, please email Christina at to discuss options.


Materials & Login/Call-In Instructions:
Materials (PowerPoint and other handouts), along with instructions on how to login and call-in, will be emailed to attendees a few days prior to the date of the webinar. PANO uses Zoom as our webinar platform; you can familiarize yourself with Zoom and/or join a test meeting prior to these sessions.

About the Facilitator:

Samantha “Sam” Bobila, Chief External Affairs Officer, Planned Parenthood Keystone (PPKeystone)

Sam, pronouns she/her, leads a brilliant and talented team encompassing development, communications, marketing, volunteer efforts, and public affairs. Together, the team advances PPKeystone’s mission by engaging and mobilizing PPKeystone’s key constituencies. She is a proud patient of Planned Parenthood, having received care at the former Bristol health center. Sam grew up in Bucks County and is honored to work in the community she grew up in. Prior to PPKeystone, she was director of development and advocacy at YWCA Princeton and held development roles at social service agencies.


Sam maintains membership in the Association of Fundraising Professionals, Women of Color in Fundraising and Philanthropy, and Professional Filipino American Youth. She has a Master’s in Women’s and Gender Studies from Rutgers University and a Bachelor’s in History, minor in Political Science, from Saint Joseph’s University.


Amber Brown, Director of Training, Planned Parenthood Keystone (PPKeystone)

Amber is a sexuality educator and trainer with nearly 18 years’ experience. She’s worked with grades two through 12, and has provided training to schools, colleges, parents, health care professionals, and community-based organizations. She oversees PPKeytone’s Education & Training Department and oversees internal non-licensed staff training.


Amber earned her degree in Education at Penn State University and is certified to teach K-6th grades, as well as Middle School Science. She is an Our Whole Lives trainer, sings ALTO in a chamber choir, and loves Renaissance Faires.
