A nonprofit's legislative advocacy is a critical aspect of creating thriving communities for those they serve. Today's political environment may make some nonprofits reluctant to engage in cause-based lobbying. Other nonprofits may need clarification on which advocacy activities are allowable and which they must avoid.

Join us to discuss how nonprofits can properly and effectively engage in advocacy. Get language and tools to help make your nonprofit an effective advocate.

Take-aways include a better understanding of:

  • The building blocks of a nonprofit advocacy program

  • Relationship-building in the public arena

  • Using data and coalitions to make your case
