Many growing nonprofits have not yet evaluated their current use of technology or their cyber security needs. Making the case for cyber security improvements is always a challenge. Often, the projects are not approved because they are not seen to be directly related to mission or program outcomes.

Course Schedule:
Wednesday, May 3 (2 hours): Cyber Security Basics Cyber security upgrades should not be completed ad-hoc or in reaction to failures. A solid cyber security plan that assesses and aligns cyber security with your mission and program goals will help your organization be more productive and produce better impact for your community. In this session, Tech Impact will define the process to develop an assessment of current state. Tech Impact will also produce and deliver the final report to each participant.
Wednesday, May 10 (1.5 hours): SecCheck Assessment Findings In this session, Tech Impact will discuss projects that can close gaps found through assessment in each category and prioritize cyber security projects to meet budget with biggest impact on mission, program, and staff productivity.
