Raffles and Bingo and Drawings, OH MY! Understanding Small Games of Chance in PA Presented by: James A. Jones, Retired State Police Captain, Pennsylvania State Police, Bureau of Liquor Control Enforcement |
If you’ve ever raised funds for your nonprofit, chances are you’ve had experience with small games of chance (SGOC) – raffles, fifty-fifty drawings, pull-tab games, and more.
Some restrictions around SGOC that were lifted during the pandemic are back in effect. Some organizations do not realize this and continue to operate under COVID rules. Even without this added layer of consideration, the laws governing small games of chance can be subject to interpretation, leaving unanswered questions about how we run them and, sometimes, if we should run them at all:
This is just the tip of the iceberg – join retired State Police Captain Jamie Jones for answers to these questions and many more. Already got questions of your own? Submit them in advance when you register!
