About the Facilitator:
Larwrence Green, Principal, LG Fundfinder Consulting, LLC. Lawrence Green is the Principal of LG Fundfinder Consulting, LLC., which offers strategic and creative support in core areas including grantsmanship, fundraising, writing and messaging, administration, planning, and assessment. Mr. Green is an Advancement Professional with 40+ years of experience working for both mission-based nonprofits as well as institutions of higher education. Mr. Green spent over 11 years at Cheyney University of Pennsylvania, the nation’s oldest Historically Black College or University (HBCU), where he served as Interim Vice President of Institutional Advancement. Mr. Green also worked for the Jewish Community Centers of Greater Philadelphia, the Philadelphia Association of Community Development Corporations, disease-related organizations, and a child welfare residential facility. In addition to consulting, Lawrence Green works part-time for the Botstiber Institute for Wildlife Fertility Control, where he plans and executes their grantmaking, fundraising, and external relations. He is President of the Board of Animal Grantmakers, a national affinity group of funders devoted to animal protection and welfare. Larry is a member of the Pennsylvania Association of Nonprofit Organizations’ Consultant Collaborative, an advisor to Working Together PA, a self-help residential community; The New 3Rs, a nonprofit that educates and empowers through the aRt of social justice storytelling, building Relationships, and fostering a sense of Responsibility; and a volunteer for Haddon Heights Good Neighbors, a local non-profit which meets the needs of residents who require short-term material assistance. Lawrence Green is a graduate of Case Western Reserve University with a B.A. in Speech Communications. Mr. Green also holds an M.S. in TV-Radio from Syracuse University’s S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications. |
