Foundations of Learning & Evaluation Part I: Evaluation Basics
Thursday, June 6 | 10:00 AM – 11:00 AM | Webinar (Innovation Network)

Presented by: Cory Georgopoulos, MPP, Senior Associate, and Rebecca Perlmutter, MA, Senior Associate, Innovation Network

Offered in Partnership With: Innovation Network

Join PANO for a two-part web series with Cory Georgopoulos and Rebecca Perlmutter from Innovation Network, to learn more about integrating learning and evaluation in your work. This mini-series will include information about:

  • An overview of evaluation and its use.
  • How to develop a Theory of Change.
  • Formulating meaningful indicators and questions to measure your work.
  • Ideas for engaging with and communicating about your data.

Over the course of two hour-long sessions, Cory and Rebecca will walk us through the basics of evaluation, Theory of Change, asking (and answering) evaluation questions, developing indicators, and data collection/use/communication.

  • Part I: Evaluation Basics (June 6) – This will be more introductory to evaluation overall, covering what evaluation can do for you, how to develop a Theory of Change, and formulating questions you want your evaluation activities to answer to ensure you get the most relevant and useful information.
  • Part II: Communicating Data (June 13) – This session will focus on ways to communicate your data effectively, starting with guidelines for developing indicators you can use to talk about your work as well as more general guidance on data collection and visualization.

While Foundations of Learning & Evaluation Part I and Part II are meant to complement each other, they can each be viewed independently of one another. We welcome you to attend one or both! If you’d like to attend Parts I and II, consider purchasing a series ticket (20% off the cost of registering for each session individually!).
