Description
Human Services & Other Nonprofit Budget Requests Critical for PA Offered in Partnership by: Feeding Pennsylvania | Pennsylvania Advocacy and Resources for Autism and Intellectual Disability (PAR) | the Pennsylvania Association of Nonprofit Organizations (PANO) | the Pennsylvania Council of Children, Youth, & Family Services (PCCYFS) | the Pennsylvania Downtown Center (PDC) | Start Strong Pennsylvania | United Way of Pennsylvania (UWP) |
This intimate, candid discussion is designed for Democratic members of Pennsylvania’s House and Senate Appropriations Committees. Our nonprofit association collaborative represents various human service organizations; we have come together to provide you with a streamlined overview about how multiple human service needs intersect with each other. Each association and our members have met with members of both senate and house appropriations committees, party leadership, and rank-and-file members about our individual appropriations requests. Because you will ultimately craft the FY 2025-2026 budget, this presentation focuses on how our various needs intersect with each other. We bring our proposed budget proposals together to inform your work as you seek to best meet the needs of those most vulnerable in your district. Because this will be presented in meeting format, we hope to have a candid conversation with you and appropriations members of your own party. (And for transparency, we are doing the same for House & Senate Republican Appropriations Committees).
We look forward to having this discussion with you.
