How to develop a Theory of Change.
Formulating meaningful indicators and questions to measure your work.
Ideas for engaging with and communicating about your data.
Over the course of two hour-long sessions, Cory and Rebecca will walk us through the basics of evaluation, Theory of Change, asking (and answering) evaluation questions, developing indicators, and data collection/use/communication.
Part I: Evaluation Basics (June 6) – This will be more introductory to evaluation overall, covering what evaluation can do for you, how to develop a Theory of Change, and formulating questions you want your evaluation activities to answer to ensure you get the most relevant and useful information.
Part II: Communicating Data (June 13) – This session will focus on ways to communicate your data effectively, starting with guidelines for developing indicators you can use to talk about your work as well as more general guidance on data collection and visualization.
