Giving USA's annual report on philanthropy presents a picture of current and emerging trends in the philanthropic marketplace, with a look forward into what is to come. Join us as we discuss the data from 2024 – including some significant shifts from past years about how philanthropic dollars are being distributed and who is receiving these funds – and how this information can provide insights into current and future giving trends.
This presentation, a partnership between the Pennsylvania Association of Nonprofit Organizations (PANO) and The Lapin Group, will share key findings and insights from Giving USA’s Annual Report on Philanthropy 2025 (a review of philanthropy in 2024). Giving USA is the longest-running, most comprehensive, and most highly respected report on philanthropy in America, published by The Giving USA Foundation. Avrum Lapin, President of The Lapin Group, Board member of The Giving Institute, and member of PANO’s Consultant Collaborative, will share the highlights of the report and updates, with implications for you and your organization.
About the Presenter | Avrum D. Lapin, President, founded The Lapin Group after two decades as a Senior Partner with The EHL Consulting Group. He has provided fundraising and strategic counsel to hundreds of clients in the U.S. and overseas for over 30 years. Mr. Lapin brings decades of extensive experience and an international reputation, driven by an in-depth knowledge of the ever-evolving environment for nonprofits. He is a recognized expert in evaluating the changing priorities and giving patterns of major individual and institutional donors. Often praised by clients for his high energy and attention to detail, Mr. Lapin thoroughly enjoys immersing himself in client organizations for the duration of their campaign, enabling them to meet their goals. He holds an MSW in Community Organization and a BA in Political Science. He serves on the board of The Giving Institute and is a member of PANO’s Consultant Collaborative.
